Working Principle

            Dry ice blasting machines accelerate solid dry ice (usually dry ice pellets or dry ice blocks) to high speeds and spray them onto the surface to be cleaned. The dry ice pellets quickly sublimate (change directly from solid to gas) after hitting the surface, which not only removes dirt and contaminants, but also leaves no cleaning agent residue. The entire cleaning process includes the following steps:


  • Dry ice blasting: Dry ice pellets are sprayed at high speed onto the dirt surface through compressed air.
  • Physical impact: Dry ice pellets hit the dirt, creating a tiny explosion that destroys the structure of the dirt.
  • Sublimation process: Dry ice pellets quickly sublimate into carbon dioxide gas, carrying away the dirt particles.

  • No secondary pollution: During the dry ice blasting cleaning process, the dry ice will sublimate quickly and will not leave any residue, thus avoiding secondary pollution.

  • Equipment protection: Dry ice blasting cleaning does not damage the surface of the equipment and is suitable for cleaning various precision equipment and vulnerable surfaces.
