            Short-path distillation is a method of separating mixtures based on the difference in volatility in a boiling liquid mixture, which is carried out under reduced pressure. When the sample mixture to be purified is heated, its vapors rise a short distance into a vertical condenser, where they are cooled by water. This technology involves cooling the distillate over a short distance (usually only a few centimeters) from the heating source to the vertical condenser. At the same time, the short-path distillation equipment can control the separation process by heating the distillation column and adjusting the feed rate. Short-path distillation is considered to be an efficient and rapid separation method that can obtain pure products in a shorter time.




Characteristics of short-distance distillation equipment
