High-pressure homogenizer is a device that homogenizes, emulsifies and disperses liquids. It mainly refines the particles in the liquid through high-pressure shear, collision and cavitation effects, making them evenly distributed and achieving a stable emulsification effect. It is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics and other industries. The following is a detailed introduction to high-pressure homogenizers:


Working Principle
The high-pressure homogenizer pressurizes the liquid material to hundreds or even thousands of bars (usually 100-1500 bars) through a high-pressure pump, and then allows the material to pass through a narrow homogenizing valve port, generating strong shear force, collision force and cavitation effect under high pressure. These physical effects disperse and refine the particles in the liquid to the micron level or even the nanometer level, forming a uniform and stable emulsion or suspension.

Equipment composition

  • High-pressure pump: Provides high-pressure driving force for liquid materials, usually a plunger pump.
  • Homogenizing valve: The core component of the equipment, which determines the shear and crushing effect of the material when it passes through the narrow valve port.
  • Cooling system: During the homogenization process, the material temperature will rise, and the cooling system can ensure that the temperature remains within the ideal range to prevent heat-sensitive substances from being affected.
  • Control system: Used to adjust parameters such as pressure, flow and temperature to ensure the homogenization effect.
