Design and functional features


  1. Ultra-high pressure system: The equipment can generate ultra-high pressures of thousands of bars or even more than 1000 MPa. Through this extremely high pressure, the material undergoes strong compression, shearing, impact and cavitation effects in the homogenization chamber, resulting in the rupture of the cell wall, thereby releasing substances inside the cell, such as proteins, lipids and nucleic acids.
  2. High cell wall breaking efficiency: The ultra-high pressure cell wall breaking homogenizer can quickly and effectively break the cell wall, and the wall breaking rate can usually reach more than 95%, which is suitable for applications that require efficient extraction of intracellular components.
  3. Gentle treatment: Since the material processing time during the homogenization process is very short and the equipment can be equipped with a cooling system, cell wall breaking can be achieved at a lower temperature, effectively avoiding the damage of heat-sensitive components by high temperature.
  4. Homogenizing valve design: The homogenizing valve is the core component of the equipment. It is usually made of wear-resistant materials and has extremely high processing precision to withstand ultra-high pressure environments. Working Principle
  • The working principle of the ultra-high pressure cell wall breaking homogenizer is based on high pressure homogenization technology. Its core mechanism is to use ultra-high pressure to pass the material through the narrow homogenization valve port, producing strong physical effects (such as shear, impact, cavitation, etc.), thereby achieving cell wall rupture.
  • Pressurization stage: The material is pressurized to ultra-high pressure (several thousand bars or even higher) by a high-pressure pump, and the material molecules are compressed under this pressure.
  • Homogenization process: In the homogenization valve, the material passes through the narrow homogenization channel in an instant, generating extremely strong shear force and impact force, and the cell walls in the material are broken.
  • Cavitation effect: In the process of the material passing through the homogenization valve, due to the sharp decrease in pressure, bubbles in the liquid are quickly formed and broken, further enhancing the wall breaking effect.
